Ariana Madix Makes Dramatic Return to Broadway, Starring as Connie Francis in ‘Just In Time’ Musical
According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Ariana Madix, the Emmy-nominated host of Love Island USA, is returning to the Broadway stage for a limited engagement in the musical Just In Time.
Official confirmation from producers Tom Kirdahy, Robert Ahrens, and John Frost details that Madix will take the stage as legendary American singer Connie Francis starting Saturday, September 12. Her final scheduled performance is set for Sunday, November 22.
Speaking about her return, Madix shared: “Returning to the Broadway stage feels like an incredible dream; it feels like home and is everything I’ve ever hoped for. I am beyond thrilled to collaborate with the legendary team behind this production and to perform for audiences at one of the city’s most cherished theaters.”
The musical Just In Time stars Jeremy Jordan as Bobby Darin, the legendary singer whose short yet tumultuous life transformed him from a teen idol into a global star. The production transports audiences to the vibrant atmosphere of a 1950s and ’60s nightclub and features live performances of Darin’s iconic classics, including “Beyond the Sea,” “Mack the Knife,” “Splish Splash,” and “Dream Lover”.
Ariana Madix made her Broadway debut in 2024 playing Roxie Hart in the hit musical Chicago. Following an overwhelmingly positive audience reception, her run was extended for an additional engagement in August of that year.
Directed by Alex Timbers (director of Moulin Rouge!), Just In Time premiered on April 26, 2025, to glowing critical acclaim and became the only musical of the 2024–2025 season to recoup its initial investment quickly. Prior to Madix, the role of Connie Francis was portrayed during various runs by performers including Gracie Lawrence, Isa Briones, Olivia Holt, and Sarah Hyland.
Additionally, it has been announced that Whitney Leavitt, star of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, will join the cast in the role of Sandra Dee starting December 1, 2026. Ticket sales for the production are currently extended through February 7, 2027.
